What's the best hair dryer for thick, frizzy hair?

Does it really make a difference? Thanks! What's the best hair dryer for thick, frizzy hair?
I have thick hair that has been damaged from all the coloring I have done to it, so it frizzes very easily. I spoke with my hair colorist and she said a good hair dryer is essential. So I invested (about $100) in a professional hair dryer from a beauty supply place. Let me tell you it really does make a difference. Some hair dryers get too high temperature wise, but don't blow the air strong enough. If you invest in a professional style dryer they get to the correct temperature and with a strong wind. My hair which used to look very frizzy looks a lot straighter and isn't as damaged as when I used the cheaper hair dryers. Also I recommend using the ';concentrator'; attachment that comes with most hair dryers, that focuses the heat and air on the hair and use a round brush. Hope this helps! What's the best hair dryer for thick, frizzy hair?
Use a defuser with a high quality dryer. The old type with the base and th hose would work best cause they have alot of volume, however the heat setting in a defuser would keep the frizzy hair down. You might want to use a hair conditioner to keep the frizzy down. Let your hair dry some before you put a dryer to it . Good luck
Yes, it does make a difference. Old dryers tend to damage your hair a lot. I recommend buying a sharper image hair dryer - its the one i bought!!! Its on sale for about $25 and it does a good job drying your hair fast while preventing it from becoming thick and frizzy. Its reaaally good - TRY IT!!! :) Hope this helped.
