What's the best hair dryer?
i'm looking for something that doesn't consume so much energy, has different heat settings (like Rimmel London's dryer has i believe four: cold, warm, hot 1, %26amp; hot 2%26lt;---but how HOT is it?), the nozzles, and has a great grip. i am looking to invest in one but i want one that doesn't break to easily and not to pricey (30-40 dollars max, i could go beyond but wouldn't spend 60 bucks on one of these).
any suggestions? What's the best hair dryer?
con air ionic, it has a cool air option on it which is supose to make your hair shiny, i like mine

l want to knowWhat is the best hair dryer?
Everyone likes different qualities in a Hair Dryer. I personally like one that gets nice and hot - and blows the air out at my hair really good.
The harder the air blows on my hair the better it seems to look.
Hair dryers these days have a lot of new technology - here is what I recommend you look for:
How many Watts the Hair Dryer has? The more watts the harder the air will blow out)
Does the Hair Dryer have an Ionic switch (protects your hair and charges it with positive IONS - this is newer technology - it does make your hair look softer)
Does it come with attachments and is there a ';Cool Shot '; button (this is awesome for setting your hair)
Hope this helps.... who knew that getting a new hair dryer was so complicated.
What is the best hair dryer?
I think there all the same.
Help with my question.

Whats the best hair dryer?
for shiny healthy hair any brand but i prefer conair or revlon somethingWhats the best hair dryer?
I have a bright red REVLON IONIC HAIR DRYER and it is the bomb! I always recommend a light spray leave in conditioner to my clients prior to drying it. Revlon for sure, good luck!Whats the best hair dryer?
I have always bought Babyliss hair dryers but the more expensive of their range and I've loved them all. I've had the one I have now for at least 6 yrs which isn't bad as I use it most days.
i love nick clarkes hairdryer ranges they make your hair soft and they are quick not like most of the others where you have to wait ages for your hair to dry only to look like fuzz buzz
anything ionic works better and is easier on the hair.
I have a Revlon and I love it!! I bet you would too! It dries my hair without leaving it looking COMPLETELY dry and trashy.
CHI is the best but expensive. conair is also good and cheap

What is the best hair dryer to buy?
Okay, I have $500 from my birthday and I need a new hair dryer. Yes need. The one I have is about 20 years old lol. Okay I would like to spend less than $150 for the hair dryer though. Uhm I have thick hair it's also fine. My hair is in a bunch of layers.. the shortest is below my ears, and the longest is about to my bra strap. My hair frizzes majorly lol. And my hair is straight but has a bunch of random pieces that are coarse and curly (I want them straight)
Thank you for the help : ) What is the best hair dryer to buy?
CHI, hands down. They make the best blow dryers and flat irons ever!
I use them in my salon and at home-- I love them as much as my clients do.

Best Hair Dryers/Straightners?
I'm looking into buying a good quality hair dryer and straightener. I have thick curly hair.
Here are some brands. Let me know which is the best or if there is any that are better, suggestions are welcome :):
- Babyliss
- Reminton
- Nicky Clarke
- Lee Strafford
- Accessorize
- Umberto Giannini
- Mark Hill
- GHDBest Hair Dryers/Straightners?
My daughter and I both use straighteners, we've had two sets of babyliss, which were ok but the effects didn't last long. My hair is wavy, my daughters is very thick. My hairdresser recommended GHD's when I moaned to her that when I straightened my hair at home it wasn't as good as when she did it and didn't last as long. They use GHD's in the salon and although they are the most expensive on your list (by a long way) they are worth every penny. They have been using the ones at the salon for 4 years and they are used all day every day. My hairdresser has had her own for just as long and never had any problems. I have to say they are the best I've ever used and I wouldn't buy anything else now, your hair is so smooth it feels like silk when you use them. I'd suggest asking round friends or family first, see if you can borrow a pair or try out a couple of makes first, cos some of them are really expensive. If you do decide to go for the GHD's shop around, I bought ours on Amazon and saved 拢30. Good luck, and many good hair days xBest Hair Dryers/Straightners?
In my experience I have found that the Chi and the Paul Mitchell flat irons are the best. Then cost a little more but any retailer should stan by them and they are worth it. I had a Chi that lasted 4yrs and I use it everyday on myself and 3-9 clients a day. I purchased the Paul Mitchell recently and I am in love with it!! Chi also makes a great hair dryer that is quiet and doesn't weigh a lot so your arm doesn't get sore. Good luck!
Don't blow dry your hair. Ever. Talk about DAMAGE!
But straighteners?
Nicky Clarke, CHI and GHD are the best. DON'T buy cheap ones.
LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE my Hot Pink GHD Straightener and it was worth every single penny! Trust me FORGET the chi's and every other straightener your thinking of buying the Chi is simply the best :)
my hair is super thick and really curly. CHI is the best brand for both it doesnt damage yer hair as bad and works. my momm is a cosmotologist and thats what she recommends(:
GHD's are very good straighteners and Parlux Hairdryers are what we use at work :D arent expensive either x
ghd's are the best straightners and any hairdryer will do.

Are you talking about hair dryers or blow dryers?
I have a bonnet hair dryer that gets hot enough to dry my thick hair in about an hour (set on low). It's Select Pro Gold. I paid about $30 for it at WalMart.
I also own a blow dryer that has a comb attachment that could straighten my hair. I've owned it for years so I forgot how much I paid for it.
Check out Sally's they have pretty good products at reasonable prices

What is the best hair dryer out there?
First of all, I'm not really concern about money. It can be cheap, it can be expensive, it can be professional, or nonprofessional. Basically, I'm just seeing what your opinions are on what hair dryer out there is the best, or if you are using a great one, what kind?
I need a hair dryer that won't make my hair frizz (I have naturally straight hair but it gets frizzy on the top since I have a lot of litle stray hairs on the top of my head) and something that can heat my hair quickly as well, so something with a good air force. What is the best hair dryer out there?

I have this one from Conair that's blue and I only paid $20 for it but it works amazing! I had the same problem as you, my last one dried my hair right out and the ends were always dead and frizzy but this one doesn't do that!!
It's Ionic technology, and your hair feels soo nice after using it.
Here it is:

It only has 2 stars for some reason, but I promise you it works well!!

n get some serum for ur hair, apply after wash ur hair .. to prevent frizziness...

What is the best hair dryer under $50?
In addition, what do ionic dryers and ceramic dryers do?
My hairdresser advised me to get a hair dryer with a concentrator. What is the best hair dryer under $50?
Ionic hair dryer dries your hair 50% faster with 1/2 the heat helping prevent split ends, fly away and frizzy hair.
The ceramic heater is self-regulating and turns itself down as it senses the surrounding temperature. Because ceramic dryers are self-regulating, many don't come with multiple temperature controls, usually just low and high. Ceramic dryers are also said to reduce bacteria formation, resulting in a healthier scalp. They also prepare hair to resist the effects of weather conditions, help create lustrous hair that feels freshly conditioned and produce a high-heat drying effect at a lower temperature than your conventional dryer.
Pure ceramic dryers are great for women who need a little more power from their dryer than those with ';normal'; hair.
There are ceramic ionic dryers but you won't find one for under what your looking for. The prices I have seen are around $200
These 2 from Conair may be what your looking for.

What is the best hair dryer to buy?.?
I have straight thin hair and i was looking into purchasing a professional hair dryer but im not sure if it is worth the investment and if i should just buy a hair dryer for $20. I know that the professional ones are hotter and cause more hair damage so im not sure what to do.. what will damage my hair the least and give me great volume and shine? help please! What is the best hair dryer to buy?.?
u dont need a professional hair dryer
professional hair dryers are used by saloons to get the job done quickly.
u can go for normal philips hair dryer. What is the best hair dryer to buy?.?
i use phillips dryer.till now i didn't face any problem with it. it is worth the cost.
panasonic is best.
Get an ionizing hair dryer, they work great by ionizing the water to dry your hair faster and it's more healthy for your hair.
Please do not get an ionic dryer like mentioned above. Ions smooth the hair cuticle down, making it look smooth and sleek - which will make your thin hair look even thinner. I would stick with something that has a switch to turn the heat down. Use a good leave in cond to protect your hair from the heat, and use the lowest heat setting possible.
Dont dye ur hair ,because the natural hair colour is the best, try highlighting with garnier highlights to put on a good and new look and the plus point they dont harm too.

I would invest in a pair of GHD`s / just pop in 2 your local hairdressers and they would advise or may have a good dryer in stock u could invest in. Also try some catwalk/bedhead products they can half drying time with any hairdryer especially after party and straightening spray!( use both 2gether) hope this helps goldilocks!
parlux 3200 avaliable at most hairdressers quite dear but well worth the money
I have a Remington200W, lots of hair on my head, and drying takes my 2 minutes. And no flying single hair!
A towel.
any kinda as long as they have heat comin out.that should do
yes, girls are the best hairdryer...I've always insisted my 'birds' dry me off after a shower/bath...then feed me with a bit of tea....then off to bed.But not me,I go out then, spend the night with a prostitute, surrounded by strippers at some champagne buffet, take copious amounts of drugs, fire guns and then homeward around dawn. When I get back, turf the old sow out of the 'nicely warmed' bed, off to her 4 jobs scrubbing lavs.
Well......,someone has to keep me in funds.........
Any hairdryer will fluff out and thicken your hair - they all blow hot air for goodness sake! Get some straighteners and use a silicon based shampoo like Pantenne.
why is it only girls the question is being directed at
Alex Ferguson
You can have mine, I never use it (You'll see why if you check my 360)!!!!

This is the best hair dryer, but it's expensive. It's not always the hair dryer than effects your hair. Most are the same. The products used in your hair make all the difference. I promise. never put products in your hair when it's wet, it won't work. Damp hair is the best time. Let it airdry for an hour or two until it's just a little bit damp, and then appy products. A little goes a long way...
Get the CHI Ion hair dryer...
and also, the CHI flat iron is a great pair to that (not to mention their curling irons)
and i know you didn't ask...but use biosilk or oilsheen for your hair before blowdrying :)
i have the same kind of hair, and sympathise with you.
i use the babyliss, straightening one (its purple-pink metallic and has 2 attachments, it prepares you for straightening, using ceramic and velvet pieces).it was under 拢30 and i think it works quite well on my hair.
gd luck with finding one

revlonWhich is the best hair dryer to buy? It should leave hair shiny and healthy looking and causes minimal damage.
My Conair Ion Shine works great!
But I do agree, letting your hair air dry does make it much more healthy!
Conair
Hot Tools Brand is expensive but a good purchase, you can find them at Sally's or Trade Secrets. Use a difusser to eliminate frizz and use products that do not have silicone in them. Try a conditioning gloss also, it helps moisturize %26amp; add shine.
Have fun!
Letting your hair dry naturally is the best way to prevent damage altogether.
Get the kind that has the ionized air. I know very little about styling hair, but I know that when I use this kind of dryer it doesn't make my hair knot up or frizz out even though I don't use a brush when I blowdry.
Elchim is a great professional dryer (rather expensive though). The real key to avoiding dryer damage is not to use it on the hottest setting, get a dryer that has a medium setting and don't hold the dryer too close to the hair shaft while drying. It may take a bit longer to dry but your hair will be in much better condition.

Use an ionic dryer and iron or a high end ceramic dryer and iron
Hair dryers that come with the nozzle that looks like a triangle are best for frizz because it's purpose it to de-frizz. So make sure to buy one that comes with it. Also, use a waxing lotion or smoothing cream on hair after you dried and style it. And try to keep the dryer at least a foot away from the hair as you're drying it since the heat is bad for hair.
any blow dryer would do. rake your hair with your fingers as you blow dry your hair. this works most of the times

Best hair dryer and straighteners?
I like to blow dry and straighten my hair, but the constant heat seems to be damaging my hair more and more. The hair dryer and straightener I use are pretty old, so what are the best ones out there that do not apply so much heat that they damage your hair but still get the job done. Thanks for your help!!!Best hair dryer and straighteners?
Every hairdryer and straightners are going to damage your hair, there is no certain brand that won't do as much damage.
You need to start using a good heat defence, along with a good shampoo and conditioner. I found that also using vo5 hot oils on my hair would put a protective coating so when straightening it, it doesn't do as much damage.Best hair dryer and straighteners?

What is the best hair dryer $150-$200?
I want to buy a good hair dryer, mine is not very good, what is a good brand to buy in sydney? What is the best hair dryer $150-$200?
It doesnt have to be expensive to work good. But getting a cheap one isn't a good idea either. Well, my suggestion is to go to Sally's. Ask them which hair dryer suits you best. Then they will give you the one that's right for you. What is the best hair dryer $150-$200?
The cheapest one isn't always the best. Look for one that suits your hair. Don't get one that's huge if you have short thin hair.

HI FRIENDS,i need one more help, which is the best hair dryer?
Studio35 beauty is a great hair dryer.
Can anyone tell me what the best hair dryer/diffuser combo would be for long (lower back) curly hair??
Use professional blo dryers, they have a longer life, more power (go for 1600+ watts), and always come with a diffuser and nozzle.
Ask your local hairdresser to order it in for you, she will be able to get it for a slightly lower price than if you were to order it in yourself from somewhere. Can anyone tell me what the best hair dryer/diffuser combo would be for long (lower back) curly hair??
Anything BUT conair
Conair has horrible products, stay away.
Probably the best product you would want to look for is one where the diffuser detaches from the hair dryer. Ask your stylist? They may even give you a discount if you smile pretty.

Whats the best Hair dryer for frizzy hair?
there alot of brands and kinds but most of ppl told me that the ionic ones are good for frezzy hair should i buy the babyliss brand ?? i dont know help
p.s : i use a hair straightner after The hair dryer is it wrongWhats the best Hair dryer for frizzy hair?
Hi Cole.
Yep you've got the right idea, yes the iconic ones are the best for reducing frizz. In my personall opinion the Phillips Treseme one is best. Im in England so we have that here, im not sure where you are but yes. You dont need to spend too much on them try to find one with at least 3 speed setting, 3 heat setting, cool blast and iconic setting. Dont dry your hair on the hottest setting this is most damaging. Use the iconic setting when your hair is over 60% dry then turn on the iconic setting. One dryed use the cool blast setting to freeze your style into place. It fine to use a hri straitener but do not overuse it, my reccomendation is only once a week if you have thin hair, thicker hair you can get away with 3 times a week for healthy hair.
**Buy some heat defense product to put on your hair (Treseme makes one, so does Sunsilk) this will protect your hair while you straiten).
If you dont use a styling product then put on some hair serum to protect your hair throughout the day. Hope this helped, if you need any more information just e-mail me. x :DWhats the best Hair dryer for frizzy hair?

an ionic hairdryer. it reduces heat damage and frizz. several brands are available. What is the best hair dryer for frizzy curly hair?

Vidal Sassoon 1875 with diffuser attachment..Works Great!!!!!!!Try it, you'll love it...And only $12-$15....
One with ionic settings. Also, when you're drying your hair dry it facing downwards (so the nozzle is facing the floor) on your hair because this smooths the shaft down and makes your hair shiny. Then blast it with cold air afterwards to seal. Good luck!
dont attempt to dry frizzy, curly hair with a hair dryer. This will frizz it even more as you aggrovate the hair cuticle. its best to dry your hair naturally but if you are in a hurry, buy a diffuser attachment and place it on the nozzel of the hair dryer. diffusers are ideal for curly hair as they wont create frizz but still dry the hair very well. Diffuser attachments can be found at any hair care shop, even Kmartthinning hair

I'd alsoo recommend Remington, look for one with a 'cool dry' option, especially if your hair tends to be frizzy/flyaway. If you want very sleek straight hair, then get an ionic one. If you would rather lots of volume, just go for the norm.
Remington do a very good one
Dont buy hairdriers from boots argos ect if you want a good 1 go to your nearest hairdressing supply shop ie sallys or salon services there much better built to last longer and have nice long electric leads on them. I got my sister 1 once from sallys and has bought all her hairdriers from suppliers ever since.
Babyliss do a fantastic travel hairdryer called the Babyliss whisperjet travel. It is small but so powerful. It has a number of settings, has a nozzle, folds up and comes with a case and adaptor so it is brilliant for taking away. Me, my mum, my nan and my boyfriend all love it. It is only 拢15 and you can get it in boots.
Alternatively at university i have the Boots Shine On 2000w hairdyer which is also 拢15 and comes with a diffuser and a nozzle. It is also great, though a little larger and the buttons can be stiff. However if you have curly hair you might really like the diffuser.
You'd only get a little hairdrier for that, try and stretch to at least 拢30 for a half decent one.Whats the best hair dryer ~拢20 you can buy?

An ION one is best

Find an ionic hair dryer with a lot of power. If it is a high power blow dryer you can dry it more quickly. Also the ions help smooth the cuticle and make the hair shiny.
if you a big baller check this out
The chi hair dryer. Its about 100 something. You can find it at ulta.
basically any blowdryer at your local drug store with a comb on it. don't blow dry your hair so much.
Any blowdryer works, but blowdrying hair gives you split ends...

THANKS FOR YOU HELP! XWhats the best hair dryer with a diffuser i can buy ?
The dryer you seek is the Flugelmeister 6000. It is the only dryer that has recorded an 8.25 second standardised drying time, long considered the holy grail of follicular dehydration thermodynamics. The story behind the machine is even more inspiring. In 1952, an ex-Nazi electronic engineer, Gerhard von Flugelmeister III locked himself in a basement for 3 months with the sole purpose of creating the World's Best hair dryer. It is rumored that during this period he even resorted to drinking his own urine (distilled), however that is beyond the scope of this forum. Suffice to say, that if you can find the 6000 you will have to be willing to part with at least $25; $30 for an example in pristine condition. Availability of the special mix rocket fuel required is also limited.

My Girlfreind Wants To Know What The Best Hair Dryer Is?
I would suggest she get the Conair Ion Shine 1875 if she wants an inexpensive one that really works. I have owned my fair share of blow dryers from expensive to inexpensive and I find this one to work better than any high priced blow dryer I have owned. It's very reasonably priced at around 23 bucks. She could also try the Conair Infiniti Professional Ionic Styler it runs in the ballpark of 40-50 bucks. I would suggest she try one of those. Especially if she doesn't want to spend 200 bucks on a blow dryer. My Girlfreind Wants To Know What The Best Hair Dryer Is?
A red convertible sports car.
But seriously there are 3 types.
1. The sit under and dry your hair slowly type used by hair dressers. They are not really worth it at home.
2. The professional hand held hair dryers. Warning, they shoot out air that is so hot it can burn your skin, and so you have to know how to use them properly.
3. The ordinary home ones.
Basically, the hotter the better, but if you don't know how to use it, then you damage the hair.My Girlfreind Wants To Know What The Best Hair Dryer Is?
Chi products are simply amazing. They are expensive but they will last forever if you take care of them.

Hi Parlux, was recommended by a top make up artist and hairdresser. but this brand is very expensive. What is the best hair dryer to use?
You need a cool shot to set your hair and make it shiny.
I have very thick and long hair so use a 2000watt hair drier otherwise I'll be there all day but people with shorter or thinner hair will need less power so they don't frazzle their hair.
And very important, is something light and comfortable with a long lead. You don't want arm ache! What is the best hair dryer to use?
Everyone's hair is different and what is great for thick hair can fry thin hair. While ceramic and ionising dryers are reputedly the best you should do your own research and choose one that has the functions you are looking for.Check the weights of them as some of the new ones on the market are quite heavy!

Hair-dryer has broken - What's the best hair-dryer to buy?
Hi im not sure as I have 3 and they all have something wrong with them lol, the first one I had was a remmington Ionic one and its really heavy and diffcult to hold and I dont think the Ions on this hair dryer do a thing, I also had a charles worthington one and I this one only had to heat setting cold or really hot and that frazzeld my hair which wasnt good. I also have one of the Beliss by babyliss although I dont use the straightening part of this dryer as it takes to long and doesnt make a difference I use just the nozzel, this works very well and is really small and light, and ionic but the nozzel doesnt lock in very well and keeps falling off and the light goes red on the side lol so I guess you have to use it with the nozzel on as it goes blue with the nozzel on lol
So its up to you, I recommend picking one that has a few heat and speed settings.
Im wanting to try that nutri heat the one that you put the capsule in but Im not to sure weather to get it or not as I have got one but its just not as good as I want it to be,

What is the BEST hair dryer for a professional stylist?
I just bought the evolution dryer, you can get it at Mayl's or Cosmo prof, I love mine, it is lightweight and it gets really hot so i recommend it only to professionals. They make an equivalent one called featherweight , it costs less and doesn't get as hot, my coworker has that one and she likes it too but she likes mine better. It is also pretty pricey so be prepared to spend between $160.00 to $200.00.What is the BEST hair dryer for a professional stylist?

my hair dresser recommends super solano, which she uses, and it does feel good with my hair. but i heard the fhi brand is nice too, i saw a deal that the fhi is like $20 cheaper, and comes with the round diffuser as well (do you ever use the diffuser anyway)? I want a lightweight dryer that works fast and leaves my hair smooth. Price isn't too much of a factor; just nothing too crazy. Links would be nice too. What is the best hair dryer?
What you want to look at is the watts, this is what gives you the power. If you want fast drying, then you want at least 1600 or 1875 watts. I have a good dryer, a Conair Tourmaline Series, with a Turbo speed motor, purple in colour, got it at Costco. I suggest you look at websites of good brand-names like Conair, etc., they categorize the dryers, you can choose which is best and then track it down in a store. What is the best hair dryer?
try ION from sally beauty !!! they have them from 30 bucks on up to 100 depending on what you want.they are really good for your hair and will give you a healthy sleek look....

That all depends on the texture of your hair. Everyones hair reacts differently to different hair dryers!

lol Sharpy,
I just answered one of your questions about hair straighteners.
I recommend going with a Chameleon Hair Straightener.
Chameleon are pretty good with straightening or curling hair. Specially if you hair are too frizzy.
There is currently a great offer on Chameleon.

I'm not a hair-stylist but I have been using hair straighteners since a long time. I have used Sedu, GHD, Solia and Chameleon so far.

Suzan. What is the best Hair Dryer %26amp; Straightener?
Yellowbird by Conair, the stylists use it. Mine lasted years.
If you can't find it in the stores try Sally's Beauty Supply.
Hair Straightener ... the best is Infrashine. The guy who had made the Chi designed it. It's better than the Chi. If that's too expensive buy the Conair Professional model CT 2555. I can't give you a site where there was a survey but I'm a stylist %26amp; have friends in salons that prefer the infrashine.
CHI, Solia, or Sedu!

The hair dryer doesn't really do anything to your hair. I have a Conair... It was $80, it's good... Doesn't leave my hair frizzy. But I have a traveler blow dryer and well it does pretty much the same? It really depends on how you work the blow dryer.

What's the best hair dryer for thick, frizzy hair?
Does it really make a difference? Thanks! What's the best hair dryer for thick, frizzy hair?
I have thick hair that has been damaged from all the coloring I have done to it, so it frizzes very easily. I spoke with my hair colorist and she said a good hair dryer is essential. So I invested (about $100) in a professional hair dryer from a beauty supply place. Let me tell you it really does make a difference. Some hair dryers get too high temperature wise, but don't blow the air strong enough. If you invest in a professional style dryer they get to the correct temperature and with a strong wind. My hair which used to look very frizzy looks a lot straighter and isn't as damaged as when I used the cheaper hair dryers. Also I recommend using the ';concentrator'; attachment that comes with most hair dryers, that focuses the heat and air on the hair and use a round brush. Hope this helps! What's the best hair dryer for thick, frizzy hair?
Use a defuser with a high quality dryer. The old type with the base and th hose would work best cause they have alot of volume, however the heat setting in a defuser would keep the frizzy hair down. You might want to use a hair conditioner to keep the frizzy down. Let your hair dry some before you put a dryer to it . Good luck
Yes, it does make a difference. Old dryers tend to damage your hair a lot. I recommend buying a sharper image hair dryer - its the one i bought!!! Its on sale for about $25 and it does a good job drying your hair fast while preventing it from becoming thick and frizzy. Its reaaally good - TRY IT!!! :) Hope this helped.

What's the best hair dryer for fine thin slippery wavy hair that tends to fuzz easily?
I know hairdryers are bad, but I have to use one with my baby fine silky hair that's wavy and fuzzes easily in humidity. My hair is BABY fine and FAR from dry, so my stylist says to use a dryer because she tells those that have DRY hair not to wash so often or use a dryer so much. So, are hairdryers really so different? I'll buy whatever. I just want one that does the least damage yet fluffs baby fine hair well. Are the greater watts ones more damaging than like the 1300 watts ones? Are ionic ones really best? Hairstylists please help out if you know. Thanks. What's the best hair dryer for fine thin slippery wavy hair that tends to fuzz easily?
One that has an ionizer. Also, you should try a heat activated conditioner, or an anti-frizz serum before drying your hair.

What is the best hair dryer for thin/frail hair?
I'm looking into getting my girlfriend a new hair dryer for Christmas. She's been using $20 Target hair dryers and it's not doing her hair any good. She has very thin and frail blond shoulder length hair. Being a boy, I know very little about hair. If you're familiar, what hair dryer would you suggest? I'd like it to be under $100, but if it's over, it's all good. She's worth it:)What is the best hair dryer for thin/frail hair?
a ionic dryer is gentle and fast.there's no need for really expensive dryers because she isn't forcing her hair straight or anything.
go to a beauty Supply to get an above average just so she knows you care.while you there saving money why don't you get her a nice brush and some products.
i think you being very thoughtful.
good luck.

What's the best hair dryer for curly hair?
I am multi-ethnic with coarse, frizzy unruly curly hair. Straightening can be achieved on my hair with a good blowout (without relaxing), but can take a long time. I want to be able to dry my hair and just leave it curly. I have always air-dried to leave it curly, but it takes forever and ends up frizzing if i have to sleep on it. Any suggestions on other hair tools and products for multi-ethnic curls would be helpful, too. What's the best hair dryer for curly hair?
Any type of dryer will work fine, you need to use the right products, a curl enhancer and use a diffuser on the dryer, that takes most of the blow out and uses the air to dry it naturally. With multi-ethnic hair, you might need to use gloss drops, it's oil based, and the curl enhancer. Any salon will carry these. They cost a bit, but you only use a little bit so they last a long time. I myself after shampoo and conditioner, I towel dry my hair, use a leave in conditioner, I prefer Tigi after party, then oil drops, I prefer Tigi girl toy, then that will tone down the frizzy part, then I use a curl enhancer, I prefer Regis brand curl enhancer and use the diffuser on my hair, it hangs in beautiful ringlets. Give it a try. What's the best hair dryer for curly hair?
use straightening hair blow dryer, the one with teeth so you could brush hair while blow drying...very effective with ethnic hair.
You can best keep your curly look and dry your hair by buying an inexpensive diffuser to place on the end of the blowdryer (it looks like a round filter that attaches to the end of the dryer where the air comes out). The diffuser spreads the heat to a wider area and allows for the curls to stay in place. I am a professional stylist and I like using the Frizz Ease products and also Redken has a fantastic heat activated ';smooth down'; product that leaves your hair looking like it had just been relaxed.
I buy this hair relaxer at the store called sunsilk de-frizz.
It works very well...I love it. After you get out of the shower, which would most likely be better to take in the beginning of the day, rather than at the end, apply this cream throughout all your hair. It doesn't get hard, crunchy, and it's not sticky. It just controls those pesky fly-aways. Then you can either let it air dry, or you can blow dry it...it should contain your frizzzz! Try it out!
Good luck!

What is the best hair dryer, styler, straightener all in one tool that you tried and like?
I waste a lot of time, drying my hair then using a different thing to smooth and straighten some parts of it, then use another thing to create curly ends!
I know there are a lot all in one hair stylers but which one is proven to really work good?
Thanks. What is the best hair dryer, styler, straightener all in one tool that you tried and like?
helen of troy hot air brush, its $9.99 but if you get it right now at ulta its $4.99. its the best, though its not ceramic, its a blowdryer, curler, and it straightens too. really helps with time. hope i helped. some websites have reviews on it. :)What is the best hair dryer, styler, straightener all in one tool that you tried and like?
i wishi could help... right now i kinda go for the straight look on top, and some wavy on bottom since my hair is naturally wavy.. problem is my hair is pretty damaged %26gt;P.
i have been pretty interested in those curling irons that split in the Middle, so that it acts as a Straightener as well!! i think that would really work.. u can straighten from top til bottom, and then curl the ends... !
No u actually cant get one with everything. They have not made one as good as for it to do all this. Just we have to deal with it. Sorry. Someone will come up with somethin.
remington WET2STRAIGHT. its a little expensive. but so worth it. you can use it on dry hair, or soaking wet. or anywhere in between. First you just go through the strange, slowly, it will sizzle... and some steam will come out. but its meant to work like that. then go through it one more time.. and it's all good. if you want, go over an extra time quickly/./ but its much quicker than blowdrying then straightening your hair. or just blow drying on its own. its amazing. leaves your hair silky, smooth and straight. even to my frizzy, puffy brown hair =)

What is the best Hair dryer and straightener out there?
I'm looking to buy a new hair dryer and straightener. I want a hair dryer that will dry my hair in minutes and make it look shiny.
I'm just curious to know what has and hasn't worked for people. What is the best Hair dryer and straightener out there?
bed headWhat is the best Hair dryer and straightener out there?
I take a round brush and blow dry my hair straight with a little gel and heat protection spray . The Chi straightener is expensive though highly recommended . It causes the least amount of damage and straightens a full head of hair within ten minutes . Blowdryers are pretty generic , they all do just about the same thing . Go to Walmart and buy one for 5 dollars.
Vidal Sassoon is an excellent a professional brand for any hair product.
Other successful products that work well: Conair and Bed Head.
Revlon is good and thin (cheap also).
I personally like GHD products. But here is some info on a lot of the top quality hair products. http://www.squidoo.com/battleofhairstrai鈥?/a>
Colorful Seasons Straightener.
It's the best.
Not sure about the blow dryer. I just got mine from Walmart. lol

What is the best hair dryer and straightner?
I had a really cheap conair hair dryer and it broke. What is, in your opinion, the best brand for that and straightners? What is the best hair dryer and straightner?
I'm not really an expert on the best hair dryers, but I do own a revlon and it's a decent hair dryer. Not the best, but it does it's job and I've had it for quite a while. The best brand of hair straighteners is sedu for sure. Sedu is rated number one on folica.com and is the best. I've had it for over a year and a half and it still works great. What is the best hair dryer and straightner?
CHIs are amazing(:
I recommend you trying the CHI hair straightener =)
i just have a crap cheap dryer, but for straightners, i love my torlen red hot!

What is the best hair dryer for daily use?A hair dryer that givers minimum hair damage and can book shine and lower down frizziness?Best hair dryer?
The best hair dryer is going to be the one with the most watts. This allows the hair dryer more power to blow dry your hair without the air getting super hot which tends to dry out the hair. Low wattage dryers, aka. cheap dryers, get super hot because they're under a greater strain. They tend to burn hair and/or overheat and shut down until they cool off. The patented Ionic System my dryer has really does make my hair smoother and shinier than any other.
I LOVE my ION hair dryer. I got it at Sally's Beauty Supply. It's powerful but also portable. It features multi settings, a cool shot button, and a special attachment for spot-drying. It also comes with a nice protective bag for travel.
Most Sally's stores offer military discounts and student discounts if you have a valid ID.
Sally's stores also offer a full money back guarantee if you're not fully happy with ANYTHING you buy there (and use). I'm talking about anything...nail polish, hair brushes, lip stick, etc...even if you've used it.
Hopefully there's a Sally's Beauty Supply near you. They'll help you. If you go, also ask about some of their light weight products that control frizziness and add shine. They have a lot of good stuff to choose from! ION Hair Shine (clear bottle with a hot pink lid) is a very good brand. That's what I use. My hair is long and smooth and silky and it's not weighted down by the product.Best hair dryer?
